tenno Randomly heard a track from them while looking for The Julie Ruin and fell in love with them. Great stuff.

Drouet Best album of the band so far and one of the best bands from Seattle nowadays along with White Water. Holographic Violence is an original and personal mix between 90's Gothic Rock (Seraphim Shock's "Red Silk Vow" or The Awakening's Request) and the first Grunge (Facelift, Ultramega Ok, etc.). "Try 2 Try" and "Metal Me" are great examples. Fav Track: "Beautiful Lie". Congratulations, guys.

neyo gira Dark, industrial, gothic post-punk with some shoegaze tendencies. This album has fantastic songwriting and great flow. While I miss some of the psychocandy elements from their previous effort, Holographic Violence is a powerful step forward.

about

Holographic Violence is Grave Babies’ second Hardly Art full-length, and further explores the themes of nihilism, the pending doom of mankind, and shaming humanity, which the band has been building their gloomy reputation on since the beginning. Recorded with Mark Gajadhar (Blood Brothers, Past Lives) on Orcas Island.
